Coway Aquamega 200C’s water purification system reduces the amount of contaminants in your water more effectively and efficiently than before. The set of filters is composed of a sediment and carbon block water filter. In the first stage of purification, water passes through the sediment filter, which reduces sand, rust, turbidity and cysts. These are the larger particles found in tap water. The second stage of purification uses a powerful carbon-block filter which reduces lead, as well as remaining sand, rust, turbidity, cyst, chlorine, chloramine and VOC. Combined, the triple-filtration technology effectively reduces ten contaminants by up to 99.9 percent.*
